Since 1984, our family has been welcoming guests with genuine Cretan hospitality, fresh local ingredients, and recipes that reflect our tradition and love for good food. The name “OFOU TO LO ” comes from an expression used in Anogia, Crete — our place of origin — to describe something truly beautiful and memorable.

Located right by the sea, our tavern offers beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy authentic Greek and Cretan cuisine. From relaxed lunches to fresh seafood and romantic dinners at sunset, every visit is a special experience for us. We had a very delicious dinner here with fried courgette (the best I ever had!) and fab main courses like the Greek special plate and seabass carpaccio. We booked the table a few days in advance and noted the wrong time down. However, arriving 30 minutes late we were still seated at a beautiful table in the front row by the sea. Thank you to all the team who were extremely friendly and they’ve created a nice ambiance.

Ofou to lo is a gem of a restaurant. Tucked away in the second bay it’s well worth the gentle stroll to get to. You’re greeted a warm welcome, sublime views and exceptional service. The food is first class, authentic and delicious. The waiters are generous with recommendations, picking out the dorado and anchovies on bruschetta. The food was truly delicious, so good that the house cat didn’t get a look in. What a wonderful experience. We’ll come again.
